for week of 2/27/16
One benefit of the unseasonably warm weather (in the northeast, anyway) is the opportunity to go out shooting without freezing half to death, and the uptick in pixelstick posts hitting photo sites over the last 10 days suggest other people have noticed as well. Twisting pixelstick back and forth on it's center point as you move in straight line creates this cool hourglass effect.

Looks like the shooter racked zoom at the last second before the exposure finished, leaving the pixelstick artwork nice and crisp but creating a motion effect on the background. Nice one!
An interesting composition in post - the shooter took a really well executed pixelstick ribbon and turned it into a piece of symmetrical artwork.
